I’m a freelance and contract UX/UI designer with a background in teaching, and lesson and curriculum creation.
As a former teacher, I enjoyed the opportunity to continuously learn and adapt, design creative solutions to different challenges and connect with my students. This inspired me to pursue a career in UX/UI design that matches both my passion and my skill set. It also allowed me to enhance my desire to create, focus on detail, tell compelling stories, and problem solve.
So in 2022, I decided to make a career change and I immersed myself in training, courses and hands-on experience with the help of field experts and tutors. I built projects from scratch and played a role in each and every part of the design process from conducting user research to creating realistic final mockups.

My aim as a UX/UI designer is to develop cohesive in-depth solutions to complex problems based on an understanding and empathy for my user’s needs. I have a diverse repertoire of design and user research knowledge that will help me accomplish this goal. Furthermore, helping facilitate communication between different stakeholders will ensure that a company’s vision for a project really shines through and that both users’ needs and stakeholder requirements will be met.
I’m currently available for both freelance and contract work in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area as well as the Niagara region or remotely.
In addition to my work and passions in UX design, I like to dabble in many other creative endeavors in my free time. I’m an avid reader, and you can find me hosting monthly book meets and organizing other social meetups bringing people together. You might also catch me on a hike, writing or drawing.
